Clacton

In October 2017 Logic CP were instructed by our client to undertake the complete refurbishment of a fire damaged property on Clacton on Sea. Without Logic CP’s involvement the property was to be condemned due to the house being inaccessible to any heavy duty plant to aid demolition as well as the absence of a detailed design and specification.

With the assistance of our in house design team and structural engineer we managed to procure and produce an acceptable specification as well as ensure the building can be safely stripped out.

With the strip out works complete, the external walls were braced, allowing us to commence the structural repairs of lintels, brickwork repairs, renewing floor joists and an entire new roof structure.  Due to the restricted programme of 12 weeks, we installed temporary windows to ensure we had a weather tight building by the end of the year.

The building being watertight meant we could commence the internal reinstatement works, such as plastering, staircases and internal finishes.   The scaffold was struck and the building completed on programme by mid February 2018.    The homeowner despite the ordeal moved back into their property overwhelmed by the quality and finish of their renovated property.
